Granddaddy Purple, or GDP, has been popular since its emergence and is one of the most popular indica-dominant hybrids. This variety has a complex pedigree. Purple Urkle is a phenotype of the Californian jewel Mendocino Purps, while Big Bud is a mix of Afghan and Skunk.
